Leland’s home Chapter is Iyanbito, N.M. He is Naakai Dinee’ (Mexican Clan) born for Nihoobaanii (Gray Streaked Ends.) Maternal Grandfather is Tl’ogi (Hairy Ones/Weaver-Zia) and Paternal Grandfather is To’aheedliinii (Water Flows Together.)
He plays an important role in our 1,200 team member work force as the Players Club Manager at Twin Arrows Casino Resort. Leland, graduate of Northern Arizona University, earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems accompanied by a certificate in Systems Administration.
“One of my favorite things about working at NNGE is helping the Navajo Nation create and build a successful economy and to create opportunities for future generations to come,” Leland said. He added, “Another favorite thing is the opportunities that NNGE has provided me to grow in my business profession, as well as my personal life.
As for achieving success, Leland says “You must be able to take care of yourself: Your mind, body and spirit because you are most important to you. It is not easy by any means. But, if you are willing to put in the hard work, it will pay off.”
